At 09:37, Engine 87 was dispatched to a Vehicle Fire at the intersection of Seanor Road / Long Drive. The Engine was on scene quickly due to the fact that they were at a near by pre-school getting ready to start a fire prevention program. Upon arrival at the scene, the Engine crew found a good fire in the engine compartment of a 4 door sadan. The Engine crew made a quick knock down of the fire and worked to open the hood and dash to cool hot spots. Truck 87 responded to assist the Engine crew with manpower. After extinguishment the scene was turned over to the Penn Township Police Fire Investigator to determine the cause of the fire. Units cleared the scene at 10:35.
