| Harrison City Vol. Fire Department was selected for the second stop for the 102.5 WDVE morning show "Firehouse World Tour". A crowd of over 550 people started lining up 3 hours before the 7:30PM show held in the Harrison Room. Included in the crowd were brother firefighters from all over including Claridge, Murrysville, Greensburg, White Valley, Uniontown, Circleville, Westmoreland City, Manor and Wilkinsburg Fire Departments to name just a few.
The show featured Jimmy Krenn, Randy Baumann, Val Porter, Mike Prisuta and Nik Delgreco who make up the #1 rated FM radio morning show in western Pennsylvania!! The morning shows usual characters performed including Ralph the cat, Bradley and Wendell, Seal, Judge Jimbo Browntown and of course Bobby Subgum. The crowd was also entertained by Randy Baumann's musical skits throughout the show.
The show finished up with an awesome local rock group, Ill Fated, who performed two songs for the crowd including Darlings Addiction, and Down on My Luck. This up and coming band ROCKS!! Check out their website, www.illfatedrock.com to listen to their music and to purchase their CD.
Finally, the Chief officers and members of the Harrison City Volunteer fire department cannot thank 102.5 WDVE enough for allowing us the honor to host their prestigious morning show, raising much needed funds for our 100% volunteer fire department. We truly appreciate it. We also want to thank them on behalf of all volunteer fire departments across western PA for supporting us and encouraging residents to donate to their local VFD's. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! |
