The Harrison City Fire Department has added additional equipment to the Station. With funding provided by a Federal Grant, we were able to purchase a 4 Bottle Cascade/Fill Station. The fill station will allow the department to fill the SCBA Bottles that are worn by the Firefighters when operating in conditions where the air quality could be dangerous to their lungs. It will also allow the department to conduct more realistic training drills buy using the breathing equipment to simulate real emergency conditions. After the training is completed, the bottles can be filled at our station instead of traveling to one of the other local Fire Stations. It will also be available to the other departments to fill their bottles. The fill station was purchased from O-Ring and Assoc. and would like to thank Bob Beaty on all of his assistance on this purchase.
