Fire prevention week was a very busy week for the members of our department. On October 10,11, and 12 our members visited the Community United Methodist Church of Harrison City's preschool and playgroups. Firefighters talked with the children about fire safety, let them try on our gear, and showed them the new ladder truck. On October 13 and 14 the children from the Pre-K Partners in Harrison City visited our station. Our members put on a small fire safty program and then the children were shown all our equipment. We would like to thank these groups for letting us talk to their children about fire safety.
