| At 10:30pm, Rescue 87 was dispatched to assist Grandview VFD with a motor vehicle accident with entrapment, route 130 at Hillview drive. Also assisting Grandview was rescue 112 (Jeannette) and 61 (High Park).
Within minutes Penn Township police arrived on the scene confirming one male patient entrapped in an overturned vehicle. Command 106 requested the car stabilized by first arriving units. Once stabilized the patient was extricated when the rear passenger side door and "B" post was removed using hydraulic rescue equipment.
The patient was transported to Jeannette Hospital. Rescue 87 returned in service at approx. 11:00pm. |
