AFTER THE STEELERS ROLL, TRUCK 87 CALLED INTO DUTY

Shortly after watching our beloved Pittsburgh Steelers smack around the Indy Colts, 87 Truck was called to assist the City of Jeannette (112) on a working house fire in the 500 block of Highland Ave. The fire, dispatch at 18:05, sent the truck to a stand-by position at Dimartino Ice Company in the city. However 87 was called into the scene to assist Jeannette units opening up side "D" of the structure. The fire, which is still under investigation, consumed the attic of this single family residence. The fire was under control in less than 1-hour. 87 Truck returned in service at approximately 19:45.
