ENGINE 87 ASSISTS ON WAREHOUSE FIRE

At 10:44am, engine 87 was dispatched to assist station 65 (North Hempfield) with a working commercial structure fire at Graham's Dairy Supply on Business Route 66 just over the Penn Township line. Engine 87 was assigned to assist engine 63 (Claridge) establishing second water supply source. Engine 63 dropped their entire bed of 5" large diameter house and engine 87 dropped 800 feet of the big line to feed engine 63 on scene. Once on scene, firefighters from 87 provided hands in opening up ventilation points around the building as well as assisting brother firefighters on large master stream operations. Engine 87 was on scene for over 5 hours providing support.
