Shortly after 5:00pm, Rescue 87 was dispatched to assist station 63 (Claridge) with a T-bone type collision with reported entrapment on Harrison City Export Road near Schrams Farm. Chief 63 arrived on scene confirmed entrapment requested doors removed from a vehicle which had a patient trapped in the front passenger seat. The rescue crew assisted Claridge firefighters removing the front and rear doors on passenger side, cutting the B post at roof and using the hydraulic ram to lay the side of the vehicle down. The patient was extricated in approx. 15 minutes and was airlifted to a Pittsburgh Trauma Center.

Afterwards, HC volunteers, assisted at our annual comedy show. Over 350 people attend the show this year featuring comedian Mark Eddie. We would like to thank everyone who attended this year's show making it a very successful fundraiser for the department.
