Station 87 Says Goodbye To A Friend

The members of Station 87 said goodbye to one of their own. Edward E. Good, Sr. passed away on Saturday July 4, 2015 at home at the age of 77. Mr. Good was a life member with 56 years of service including 24 years as Chief finally retiring in 1995. Rescue 87 Assist In Wreck With Heavy Entrapment

July 11

In the early morning hours of July 8th 2014, Rescue 87 was alerted to respond to Route 130 in the area of Bobnick Lane, to assist Station 9 who was on scene of a wreck with confirmed entrapment and entanglement. Reported lightning strike

January 11

At 0823 hours on Jan 11th 2014, Station 87 was activated to respond to Sunnyfield Ct for a possible lightning strike to a house. Stations 7, 9, 63, and 106 were activated for the assist. Chief 87 arrived on scene with nothing showing from the exterior of the residence. Truck 87 was the first unit on scene.
