- For two, hot days, five firefighters from station 87 participated in an intensive training program by New York City and Camden, NJ firefighters. ENGINE 87 ASSISTS ON WAREHOUSE FIRE
APRIL 14
- At 10:44am, engine 87 was dispatched to assist station 65 (North Hempfield) with a working commercial structure fire at Graham's Dairy Supply on Business Route 66 just over the Penn Township line. Engine 87 was assigned to assist engine 63 (Claridge) establishing second water supply source. WRECK WITH MINOR ENTRAPMENT
MARCH 01
- Rescue 87 was dispatched to assist station 63 (Claridge) with a motor vehicle accident with reported entrapment shortly after midnight. Police arrived on scene, confirmed entrapment; however, the patient did not appear to be injured. Firefighters performed a side roof flap once the vehicle was stabilized with wood cribbing and air shore struts. Rescue 87 was back in service within 20 minutes. ... (Full Story & Photos) |
